Codemasters has announced GRID Autosport, the next game in the GRID driving video games series that feature authentic road racing with real-life cars! The third game in the GRID series, this time the game will focus more on motorsports, and involves the collaboration with UK’s top motorsports portal, Autosport. Most importantly, players get to drive fast-paced GT machines on Malaysia’s own Sepang International Circuit!
According to the game developers, GRID Autosport will feature authentic handling style, with each racing car acting differently. Being a motorsports centric game means there will be five disciplines, which includes touring cars, open wheel, drift, endurance and street races. Players can enjoy various types of machines including touring cars, GT, single-seaters, muscle cars, drift, supercars, hyper cars, time attack, prototypes and many more. The game features 22 locations including real-life tracks such as Hockenheim, Jarama, Yas Marina and of course, our own Sepang!
The single player career in this game will allow you to be as close as a professional racing driver progressing in one or many disciplines of racing. Multiplayer options were also available via RaceNet where players can form a virtual racing club to race with other communities online. GRID: Autosport is set to be launched on June 27th on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
