Jetour launched it new SUV, the VT9 at the ongoing Malaysian Auto Show (MAS 2025). The SUV comes in two variants; Comfort and Premium with a price tag of RM118,000 and RM123,000 respectively.
The VT9 certainly has presence. It’s wide — 1.9 metres to be exact — with a strong, athletic stance. Up front, you get the striking JETOUR X-Face grille flanked by LED headlamps, plus unique design touches like lantern-style DRLs and a feather-patterned grille inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics. At the back, sporty dual twin tailpipes finish off the look.
Inside, it’s all about space and flexibility. There’s room for seven, and the second and third rows can fold flat to unlock up to 1,680L of boot space — perfect for road trips or hauling big gear. The cabin feels premium with perforated leather seats, a D-shaped leather steering wheel, aluminium trim, and ambient lighting for that extra touch of class.
Taking centre stage is a 10.25-inch twin LCD screen infotainment setup, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice command support. Plus, a 50W wireless fast charger keeps your devices topped up on the go.
Comfort and convenience continue with features like a 62-inch panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, and a CN95 clean-air filter system. And when it comes to safety, the VT9 doesn’t hold back — six airbags, a high-strength steel frame, 360° HD camera, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and more come as standard on higher trims.
Under the bonnet, it’s powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed DCT gearbox — tested for over two million kilometres for reliability. It’s not a sports car, but it’s tuned for smooth, efficient drives — ideal for families and everyday commuters alike.
Available colours? Take your pick: Star Black, Khaki White, Phantom Grey, Tech Grey, or a striking Aurora Green. In short, the JETOUR VT9 blends big style, clever design, and family-friendly practicality — without blowing your budget.
