Hyundai Unleashes The IONIQ 6 Facelift At Seoul Mobility Show 2025

Hyundai has just dropped the refreshed IONIQ 6 and the sporty new IONIQ 6 N Line at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, and let’s just say—they’re taking electric streamliners to the next level.

With a sharper, more refined design, these updates are all about flow, aerodynamics, and that signature futuristic edge that made the original IONIQ 6 a multi-award-winning hit back in 2022.

A More Polished, More Aerodynamic IONIQ 6

Building on its “Electrified Streamliner” DNA, the 2025 IONIQ 6 facelift has undergone some serious fine-tuning. The smoother curves, elongated proportions, and shark-nose design give it a more premium, aerodynamic presence—almost like it’s slicing through the air even when parked.

Hyundai has also reworked the lower black garnish, stretching it across the doors to accentuate the Ioniq 6’s ultra-sleek profile. One of the biggest changes? Bye-bye to the old spoiler—in its place, an extended ducktail spoiler that maintains top-tier aerodynamic performance while keeping things effortlessly sophisticated.

And to add that extra touch of modernity, Hyundai has revamped the front and rear lighting setup, featuring slimline DRLs and main lamps that boost its high-tech appeal. The wider horizontal design makes it look even more planted and poised on the road.

Inside the “Mindful Cocoon”

Hyundai isn’t just about outer beauty—the cabin gets an upgrade too. The “Mindful Cocoon” design concept continues, but with more premium materials, an updated steering wheel, and a refined centre console layout for improved ergonomics. The climate control display has been beefed up, making it more intuitive and user-friendly. In short, the Ioniq 6’s interior is now more sophisticated, comfortable, and high-tech than ever.

Enter the Beast: IONIQ 6 N Line

For those craving something with a little more attitude, Hyundai has also revealed the Ioniq 6 N Line—and it’s an absolute stunner. Inspired by the RN22e Rolling Lab concept from 2022, this performance-inspired variant dials up the aggression with wing-shaped front and rear bumpers, giving it a sculpted, muscular stance.

A bold side sill design emphasises its low-slung, performance-driven character, while blacked-out rear elements—a signature from the RN22e—enhance its mean, motorsport-inspired aesthetic. And let’s not forget the two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamps, which inject a digital, futuristic vibe.

A New Standard for Electrified Streamliners

Speaking about the facelift, Simon Loasby, Senior VP and Head of Hyundai Design Center, summed it up perfectly:
“IONIQ 6 has evolved from a single Electrified Streamliner into a lineup, each model expressing its own character while staying true to one refined vision. Under the evolved design concept of ‘Pure Flow, Refined,’ we’ve enhanced every line and detail to make IONIQ 6 simpler and more progressive.”
