The Ford Ranger MS-RT has stole the show at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS). Developed by the same M-Sport team behind Ford’s World Rally Championship (WRC) beasts, this Ranger is all about racing pedigree blended into a brawny utility vehicle.

Forget the rugged, mud-slinging vibes of the Raptor—this one’s built for the tarmac. Originally an exclusive treat for the European market, the Ranger MS-RT now struts its stuff in Thailand with an aggressive body kit inspired by the race trucks of the Thailand Super Pickup series.
The front end means business, with a deep air dam, a massive trapezoidal air intake, and a honeycomb mesh grille topped off with an integrated splitter. Flared fenders add to its muscular stance, stretching the truck an extra 82 mm, while front vents channel air into sculpted side skirts.
But the stance isn’t just for show.
Sitting 40 mm lower than a standard Ranger, this beast rolls on massive 21-inch wheels—the biggest ever seen on a factory Ranger—wrapped in ultra-high-performance ContiSportContact 5 tyres.

No chunky off-road rubber here! Power-retractable side steps, an MS-RT-branded fuel cap, and a dynamic duo of spoilers (one on the roof and a ducktail on the tailgate) complete the aggressive look. And yes, there’s even a rear diffuser integrated into the bumper.
Inside, the MS-RT keeps things sporty and stylish. Up front, you get eight-way power-adjustable bucket seats wrapped in faux leather and suede, with blue accents adding a pop of colour. The sculpted sports steering wheel features a blue marker at 12 o’clock, a subtle nod to its motorsport DNA.
MS-RT logos are tastefully placed on the seats, carpets, and just behind the gear lever, making sure you never forget you’re in something special.

Under the hood, the Ranger MS-RT packs a punch with a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel churning out 250 PS—10 PS more than stock—and a hefty 600 Nm of torque. Power is sent through a 10-speed automatic gearbox to an electronic four-wheel-drive system. The lowered suspension setup includes firmer front dampers and a retuned rear, ensuring sharper handling without sacrificing the truck’s legendary one-tonne payload and 3,500 kg towing capacity.

Now, for the price tag—this road-going warrior starts at 1.749 million baht (RM228,435) in its striking Absolute Black finish. Fancy a bit of contrast? Conquer Grey is available for an additional 10,000 baht (RM1,306).
A racing-inspired pick-up truck might not be the most conventional route, but let’s be honest—doesn’t the Ranger MS-RT just ooze cool? With those sticky tyres and sport-tuned suspension, it’s built to dominate the streets.
