A 79-year-old lady in Belgium was given a speeding ticket for going over 230kmh recently. Her offence was caught on camera in June last year but only recently faced the court in a charge which cost her $4,600 and 3 months driving suspension. The speed trap caught her driving her Porsche Boxster GTS around midnight speeding.
When asked why did she drive so fast, her reasoning was that she couldn’t sleep and she needed to drive to clear her head. I totally believe her because there are times when I am completely stressed out and needed to go out for a drive. Just that I won’t mention the speed I am driving (the speed limit of course!).
Jalopnik reported that she wasn’t aware of her speed nor did she fight the speeding ticket in court. In truth, she definitely knows how to enjoy her Porsche to its fullest if you ask me.
