Do take note of the “2.0T” badge on the boot-lid in the video above! According to AN Daily, it hints that one variant of the new Accord will be powered by a tuned 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, similar to the one found in the Civic Type-R, which produces 252bhp and 371Nm of torque. Another tamer variant will get a familiar sounding 1.5-litre turbocharged lump. All variants will apparently come with a new 10-speed automatic gearbox. Yes, ten speeds.
If all goes well, the new Honda Accord will likely make its debut here in Malaysia by the middle of 2018, or just after.
