An English rider, 48-year-old Davey Lambert died after suffering from a crash at the Isle of Man TT. He crashed his 1,000cc Kawasaki on the third lap of the opening Superbike race on Sunday. He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to the Nobles hospital and then transferred to Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool where he died on Tuesday.
Davey Lambert has been racing at the Isle of Man TT since 2014. Organisers of the race have given the following statement.
