In recent events, trucks have become the choice of terrorists targeting areas where crowds gather. From Sweden to Germany to the UK and France, authorities are trying to figure out preventive measures to block off vehicles from crashing through crowds of people in public spaces. This tactic has been very effective considering that many people have died and scores injured due to these terror attacks.
A video surfaced online showing a new security barrier being tested out and from the video, it looks like it works very well over conventional barricades.
A little too well.
Unfortunately, the people who were testing the barrier had no idea how effective it would be that they used an actual driver in the truck to try to ram the barrier. The overall effect was quite bad such that it prevent the truck beautifully but it also seriously injured the test driver behind the truck.
