Lexus has recently announced that it will reveal its much anticipated NX crossover at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show in April. Lexus NX is a production-ready model derived from the LF-NX concept vehicle introduced at the Frankfurt and Tokyo Motor Shows last year.
Positioned just below the RX in the Lexus product range, the NX will mark Lexus’ entrance into the growing segment of premium mid-size crossovers.
The vehicle is likely to be powered by a new variant of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system, but is tuned for SUV performance. That means the front wheels will be driven by a combination of a 156bhp 2.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor.
