Sources out there have been mentioning that BMW is finally resurrecting the M8 and we might see a new high-end M car in production.
BMWBLOG broke the news earlier this week with the M8 due to arrive in 2019. There will be 3 variants for the car, presumably a coupe variant, a convertible variant and a gran coupe variant.
The old M8 was meant to be a Ferrari competitor sporting a 550hp version of the S70 engine but the project was eventually scrapped and the car parked in storage.
As of late, BMW’s i8 has been the head turner of their line-up but reviews suggest that the drive isn’t really there yet in the super car category.
