It was inevitable. Ever since grey importers started bringing in the 2016 Honda Civic Type R, it was only a matter of time before the mighty NSX was unofficially brought in.
Spotted on Carlist.my is the latest Honda supercar, the all-new Honda NSX with a hefty price tag of RM2 million. In UK, Honda offers the new NSX for roughly £143,950, or RM781,069 before tax.
The flagship Honda is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that does 500 bhp and is mated to three electric motors that’s part of the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. A nine-speed DCT takes care of shifting duties. 0 – 100 km/h is achieved in just 2.9 seconds, with top speed rated at 307 km/h.
According to Honda, the second generation NSX is produced at their Honda Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio. The first generation Honda NSX was made in Tochigi, before Honda moved production to Suzuka.
It is worth noting that this particular Honda NSX could very well be the only unit here, so spare parts and periodic maintenance could pose as an issue for potential owners. Furthermore, there is no warranty offered by Honda Malaysia. Beyond that however, the 2016 Honda NSX could very well be a dream come true for the absolute hardcore Honda fan.
