Our petrol and diesel prices are on an upward trend ever since the new year rolled in.
Here’s the updated price for RON95, RON97 and diesel in Malaysia, effective midnight on 1st February 2017:
RON95 – RM2.30 (up from RM2.10 per litre)
RON97 – RM2.60 (up from RM2.40 per litre)
Diesel – RM2.15 (up from RM2.05 per litre)
A surprising increase to say the least, considering the price of crude per barrel has been quite steady at USD55, 55 & 54 per barrel for Dec 2016, Jan 2017 and Feb 2017 respectively.
