Alfa Romeo has taken the wraps off the all-new MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde at the on-going 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
External enhancements for the all-new MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde include a burnished finish for exterior detailing, twin chrome exhaust tailpipes, a rear spoiler, sports rear bumper, 17-inch alloy wheels and Brembo brake callipers finished in red. The Quadrifoglio Verde (four-leaf clover) logo adorns the side direction indicator.
Inside, the new Alfa MiTo QV is equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, new QV instruments, a sports steering wheel with white stitching and a gear-lever boot and handbrake lever both embellished with white and green stitching.
The new Uconnect infotainment system is also standard, featuring a 5-inch colour touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity. Sabelt seats with wraparound carbon fibre backrests and the Alfa Romeo logo embossed into the Alcantara material are optional.
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde is powered by the new 1.4 MultiAir Turbo Petrol engine which, in combination with the 6-speed transmission featuring the next generation ‘Alfa TCT’ double dry clutch, develops 170hp and a maximum torque of 230 Nm (it increases to 250 Nm at 2500 rpm in Sport mode). This enables the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 7.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 219 km/h.
In terms of fuel efficiency, owners can expect to average 5.4 L/100 km with CO2 emissions of 124 g/km.
