Honda has just unveiled the Mobilio facelift in Indonesia that comes with some major changes on the exterior and interior and more added features. This is the first model change for the Honda Mobilio since it was launched in 2014.
In terms of its overall looks, the Mobilio now offers new design on the front grille, engine hood, and headlights which now comes equipped with LED Guide Lights. The Honda Mobilio also features a new 15-inch alloy wheel design, and more luxurious newly designed rear license garnish. Meanwhile, the RS variant gets a more aggressive and sporty look with a redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels, black front grille and power retractable door mirrors.
Inside the cabin, new designs and additional features were applied to enhance the comfort and fun to drive feeling. The seats now feature separated and adjustable headrests, while the second row seats now come with new thicker cushions. The Mobilio also adds new features such as audio steering switches, 6.8-inch touchscreen A/V System with 6 Premium Speakers, auto A/C, and new meter cluster design. In the RS variant, the interior implements new black colour scheme with orange stitching details.
Under the hood, power is supplied by a 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine that generates a maximum power of 118 PS and 144 Nm of torque. The engine is supported either by a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.
In terms of safety, the Honda Mobilio facelift comes fully equipped with Dual SRS Airbags, Seatbelt Pretensioner with Load Limiter, 3 Point Seatbelt on thesecond row, ISOFIX and Tether to support child seats. Advanced safety features are also present such as G-CON + ACE Body, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and ABS + EBD.
The facelifted Honda Mobilio is offered in either S, E or RS grade with a starting price of IDR 189.500.000 (RM63,458) for the S (M/T), IDR 210.000.000 (RM70,323) for the E (M/T), IDR 221.000.000 (RM74,006) for the E (CVT). Meanwhile, the RS (M/T) is priced at IDR 233.000.000 (RM78,025) while the RS (CVT) retails for IDR 243.500.000 (RM81,541).
Colour options available for the S & E Type include new Marine Purple Pearl and Passion Red Pearl colour, besides Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and White Tafetta colour. The Mobilio RS grade on the other hand, is offered in Marine Purple Pearl and Phoenix Orange Pearl Two-tone colour (new), on top of White Orchid Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Modern Steel Metallic colour.
