Kia has been releasing video teasers of its upcoming GT Sports sedan for quite some time now but this fourth and final teaser video is perhaps the most revealing.
The short footage below, Kia reveals the car’s headlight and taillight designs, the company’s signature grille with an incorporated camera, side vents and a power sunroof that opens up to preview the interior.
Inside the cabin, the video highlights the GT’s automatic climate control, 8-speed automatic transmission and blind spot monitoring system, but the most interesting part, is what hides under the hood of the sports sedan.
There’s no official word on what powertrain Kia will use on the GT, but reports indicate a possible 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, (whoa, what!) taken from the Genesis G80, which should produce around 365hp and 509 Nm of torque, powering the rear wheels. This allows it to go from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 244km/h.
The Kia GT will be unveiled at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show in just a few more days so we’ll keep you updated with more info when the time comes!
