Honda Thailand has just dropped the first teaser of the 2017 Honda City facelift, with registration of interest opened.
The teaser image, in gif format, showcases the upcoming City’s updated front fascia with a pair of revised head lights. On top of the revised headlights, expect the new City to feature identical signature grille as the 2016 Civic. The headlights appear to be LED illuminated with the grille extending into the headlights.
As for the rear end, little has changed from the outgoing model, if any. Exterior aside, we can also expect the updated City to feature an improved interior starting with a new infotainment system with updated Honda Display Audio. Interior trim is also expected to be refreshed on the facelifted City.
Powertrain is expected to remain unchanged, though there is a possibility that Honda could introduce a hybrid version of the City locally. We can foresee the facelifted City to continue on with the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC SOHC four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an Earth Dreams CVT that drives the front wheels.
