The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution nameplate may be dead, but there is no denying that Mitsubishi has done an excellent job with the Lancer Evolution in the motorsports scene, often considered as Subaru’s arc nemeses.
This CE9A generation Lancer Evolution II is decked out in the stripped-out RS trim, with a 30% stiffer chassis, 260 hp from its 2.0-litre turbocharged 4G63 engine, improved suspension tuning, 16-inch wheels for better grip and a bumper lip that supposedly improved aerodynamics.
Only 5,000 examples of the Lancer Evolution II RS rolled off the production line in Japan, even less that remained bone stock since leaving the factory. This listing is asking for a price of HKD 150,000 for the mint condition Mitsubishi, which translates to roughly RM87,000. To back the price, the seller says that this Lancer Evolution II RS only has one owner since new plus a full service history to verify its 75,000 km mileage.
