Currently, Nissan is in the midst of developing the next-generation Grand Livina, a model that has been around largely unchanged since 2007.

According to ototainment, the general manager of Marketing and Product Planning at PT Nissan Motor, Budi Nur Mukmin was quoted that the new model will bring along several new features, but insisted that prices won’t be too far off from the outgoing model. In order to achieve a lower selling price, the Nissan Grand Livina that’s sold in Indonesia carries 90% ASEAN-sourced content.

One of the expected features is the Around View Monitor (AVM), similar to the one fitted to the Nissan X-Trail locally. However, don’t expect the new Grand Livina to debut next year, as Budi stressed that features like AVM will likely find its way to the facelifted Grand Livina that could make a debut next year.
