Esposizione internazionale ciclo e motocicl (EICMA) 2016 has been an exciting event for motorcyclists as many manufacturers have announced fun and cheap bikes for the mass market. By cheap, we mean low-capacity engine bikes.
Such as Kawasaki here, combining their ever successful 650cc Versys with the sports/naked bike Ninja or Z250/Z300 into a low-capacity adventure bike, now announced and named as Versys-X.
Kawasaki’s new Versys-X will sport 250/300 cc engine from the Ninja or Z250/300 bike, while maintaining the looks of a Versys. That’s brilliant! As this year’s event has been, many other manufacturers such as HONDA, BMW have also announced these low-capacity bikes!
The Versys-X will sport long travel suspensions, 19 inches rim in the front, and 17 inches in the rear. Cluster meter with lots of display such as gear indicator, tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge. It’s practically the complete bike.
Comes standard equipped with ABS for safety, telescopic forks with long-travel suspension and also worth mentioning, a slipper clutch!
Nevertheless, we shall wait for more details and photos from Kawasaki.
