While 2014 is the year where most eyes will be on the World Cup Finals in Brazil, there won’t be any two-wheel action in that country. Brazil’s return to MotoGP after one decade in hiatus has been hit by a setback after the FIM dropped the Brazilian GP from the MotoGP 2014 calendar.
The event, originally scheduled on 28th September, was supposed to be held at the Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet circuit in the capital city Brasilia. However, similar to the issue of a few of Brazil’s new football stadium constructions falling behind schedule, the construction to upgrade the grandstands and facilities of the track has suffered a similar fate.
With that, here’s the revised calendar for MotoGP 2014.
