ANIH Berhad will be carrying out major upgrading works at the parking area of the Gombak rest stop (facing Kuala Lumpur) to improve the level of comfort of road users.
Therefore, there will be a temporary road closure at the the main entrance of the Gombak rest stop area. The road closure will be carried out in two stages beginning 9th November 2016.
Stage 1: 9 & 10 November 2016 (24 hours) Partial road closure at the lorry parking area of Gombak rest stop. Only light vehicles are allowed to enter in the parking area during the duration of the road closure.
Stage 2: 14 – 17 November 2016 (24 hours) Full closure of Gombak rest stop area. This will include the closure of the stalls, public toilets and surau.
As a reminder, the ANIH Berhad will be displaying the rest stop closure message via the electronic billboard (VMS) along the highway to enable motorists to make early preparations and to take alternative stop at the nearest R&R or other rest stops nearby if necessary.
