The 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 facelift is expected to debut some time next year, as the model has been around since 2013, unchanged.
As the vehicle’s camouflage lessens, we can predict that the launch will happen within the coming month, if not weeks. Thanks to that, we can see that the facelifted model receives updates on the bumpers and lights, both in front and the rear.
On top of the refreshed exterior, Carscoops reckons that the new W222 could feature Mercedes-Benz’s Drive Pilot semi-autonomous driving technology. The system made a debut on the newly-launched W213 E-Class. Furthermore, the updated W222 could feature its smaller sibling’s dual-display set up on the dashboard.
Trim levels are expected to be similar as the outgoing model, though potential buyers can expect minor enhancements on the interior. Engine choices are unknown at this point.
