Honda is further expanding the lineup of its SUVs with the introduction of the all-new Honda WR-V compact SUV.
This new SUV will be making its world premiere at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show 2016 next month, and prior to its first public appearance, the company has released a design sketch of the new model.
Oh, in case you’re wondering, WR-V is an acronym for ‘Winsome Runabout Vehicle’. Developed for the South American market, particularly Brazil, Honda says the WR-V features both a “tough and urban” SUV design, which is popular among people who enjoy active lifestyles, and excellent utility within a compact body size.
Honda didn’t announce further details of the WR-V or when it will reach the production line but when it arrives across the South American showrooms, the WR-V will be slotted below the CR-V and HR-V in Honda’s SUV line-up. However, there’s no word if it will be offered to the rest of the world, yet.
