Naza Premira Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Vespa scooters in Malaysia, has announced the arrival of the Vespa Sprint Adventure, a customized Vespa Sprint 150cc with ABS, in Limited Edition; designed with a unique adventurous look.
Equipped with sporty black matt details and travel accessories, it comes in two limited colours namely, Green Matt and Desert Sand.
The Vespa Sprint Adventure is powered by a new Piaggio i-Get powetrain that feature a single cylinder 4-stroke 150 air cooled engine with electronic injection and 3-valve timing. Each and every detail, from the exhaust to the internal design of the gearbox cover, has been designed to make the ride smoother, quieter and more comfortable. The injection system has been optimized and improved in terms of efficiency where the ECU now has a barometric sensor that guarantees optimum combustion every time in any condition of use and at any altitude. It produces a maximum power of 9.5 kW at 7,750 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, making it particularly quick both in city traffic or on stretches of open road.
Fuel consumption has been reduced to a minimum 42 km/litre. The exhaust system is also entirely new. The new unit makes the engine quieter and at the same time ensures a more full and pleasant timbre.
The front wheel has an innovative detection system – a sensor and a tone wheel – which instantly reads the speed and deceleration of the wheel with respect to that of the vehicle. The sensor dialogues with an electro hydraulic control unit which activates the ABS system if the wheel decelerates abruptly, preventing locking and the consequent loss of control over the vehicle, thereby guaranteeing stability, vehicle control and efficient braking even on low friction coefficient surfaces such as wet or dirty asphalt. ABS and sturdy frame in Vespa take to the next level of safety standard. The 12-inch rims comes with a modern sophisticated new design with 5 double spokes.
The accessories that complete the Vespa Sprint Adventure includes black rear carrier, black front carrier, smoked fly screen. It is priced at RM17,000 on the road, inclusive of the aforementioned accessories.
