During this weekend 2016 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix, multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Usher will be performing at the after-race concert supported by an exciting line-up of Universal Music artistes including Natasha Sass, Fazura, Modescape and Backtobasixx.
Usher, who has sold over 65 million albums worldwide, has been named one of the best-selling artistes in American music history by the Recording Industry Association of America. Billboard has also named him the second most successful artiste of the 2000s decade, with his career-propelling 2004 album ‘Confessions’ ranked as the top solo album of that decade. The multi-talented artiste has achieved nine Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits and 18 Hot 100 Top 10 singles such as ‘You Got It Bad’ and ‘OMG’. This year, his collaboration with Malaysia’s very own singer-songwriter Yuna produced the hit track ‘Crush’, which peaked at 39th on the Billboard Top 100 chart.
Since there will be thousands of F1 fans gathering at the Sepang International Circuit this weekend, Rapid KL has made a comprehensive transport options available for your convenience.
The Rapid KL’s shuttle bus service will run from Friday, 30 September 2016 to Sunday, 2 October 2016. The shuttle bus service will commence from 8am daily from KL Sentral and KLCC as well as from KLIA2. Rapid KL will also be providing free shuttle service around the circuit for fans to travel to their respective grandstands. For the return journey, shuttle bus services from SIC to KL and KLIA will start from 4pm and end at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday, the service is extended up to 10.30pm to cater to fans attending the after-race concert.
Bus tickets are priced at RM35 for a return ticket from KLCC and KL Sentral and RM20 for a one-way journey. Tickets to and from KLIA are offered at RM12 only. Fans can purchase the bus tickets at special kiosks at KLCC, KL Sentral, KLIA 2 and at SIC during the event. Tickets can also be pre-purchased at LRT stations in Putra Heights, KLCC and KL Sentral.

You’ll save yourself the hassle of driving through potential traffic jams and searching for a parking spot. Rapid KL has worked closely with us and set up a dedicated shuttle bus service for fans, running from the KL City Centre to the circuit, so we hope fans will choose this service,” said SIC Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Razlan Razali.
