BIKES: Demak to Unveil 4 New Bikes in Germany

DNC Asiatic Holdings Sdn Bhd, the local manufacturer of Demak brand motorcycles, will be showcasing 8 motorcycle and electric vehicle products, including 4 newly developed models, namely Sprinter, Dino, Explorer and Citibiz, at the 2016 Intermot Motorcycles Show in Cologne, Germany.

Dino is a 50cc scooter with fuel injection engine targeting the European market, while Explorer is a 125cc scooter for the emerging market. Sprinter a 125cc street bike with sporty features and CitiBiz is a 3-wheel electrical vehicle with a built in freezer called “CitiBiz Chiller”. These models will roll out into the market in early 2017.

On top of that, Demak will also showcase its existing models including the Evo Z 125R,  DVS 110, DZR 120 and Eco 110 at the motorcycle event next month.

Mr. Gao Rong, the Group Chief Executive Officer, stated “Since Demak’s incorporated in 2002, we have kept on investing in product design and development to make our products not only more trendy and attractive in design, but also deliver more economic value to the users and society. We are now ready to embrace the global market though this Debut at Intermot, the most recognised international motorcycles and scooters fair with trade visitor from all over the world.”

Demak motorcycles are currently positioned 4th in the Malaysian market. To date, Demak have sold more than 40,000 units of various models.

“We want the rest of the world and particularly the European market to recognize and appreciate that Malaysian products are competitive in all aspects,” he added.
