The all-new Hyundai i30, similar to the Volkswagen Golf, will feature an extended range of models, according to a report by Autocar.
Hyundai pulled the covers off the all-new i30 yesterday at Frankfurt. Peter Schreyer gave a presentation on the new model, in which he flashed outlines of other models in that same range, though he did not reveal any information.
From the brief shot of the slide, we can observe that the middle vehicle is possibly the souped up version of the i30, possibly called the RN30. The far left model appears to be a large sports sedan with a sloping roof, while the vehicle on the far right resembles a wagon.
Hyundai is keen to be the top Asian car maker by 2020. Jochen Sengpiehl, Hyundai’s European marketing boss said that extending the range is part and parcel of achieving that goal.
