Following the official launch of the new-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class back in June, as promised, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the availability of the E 250 Avantgarde and E 250 Exclusive Line in our local market.
The current E-Class (CBU) range now comes in three variants, two new ones; E 250 Avantgarde and E 250 Exclusive Line, while the E 200 Avantgarde Line was already in market a couple of months ago.
Below is the retail price for all three variants.

The E 250 with Avantgarde Line can be differentiated by a sports radiator grille with a large Mercedes star as its centrepiece. The radiator trim with 2 louvres in matt iridium silver with chrome inserts and a centrally positioned Mercedes star looks distinctly different to the standard specification front section. The soft nose appears to lengthen the bonnet and emphasises its sporty appearance, as do the diamond-meshed air intakes in the front bumper. The sedan also comes with 19-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels.
The Exclusive Line on the other hand, comes with an upgraded front bumper specific to this line with chrome trim elements, differentiate it from the other design and equipment lines. The radiators trim with 3 louvres and radiator grille with a three-dimensional frame and the Mercedes star on the bonnet suit the classical design perfectly.
Both vehicles are equipped with enhanced MultiBeam LED headlamps that is equipped with 84 individually activated high-performance LEDs, which means that they are exceptionally bright and precise, and automatically illuminate the road surface with a previously unsurpassed, precision-controlled distribution of light – without dazzling other road users.
Both models are also equipped with Comand Online, where infotainment, navigation and communication is shown on the 12.3-inch high-resolution media display. Its highlights, alongside the double display, include the touch-sensitive Touch Controls on the steering wheel and the new, intelligent graphic design of the Multifunction Telephony. It allows mobile phones to be charged and, at the same time, connected to the vehicle’s exterior aerial – without the need for cables or a telephone holder.
With Parking Pilot and 360° camera, all-round vision is made possible by the reversing cameras and three other additional cameras. Observation of the areas to the side and directly in front of the vehicle thus helps during parking and manoeuvring. The information from Parking Pilot and the cameras are graphically presented in full HD on the vehicle’s Widescreen Cockpit.
All E-Class models are powered by the same engine, the 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbo petrol unit with outputs ranging from 184hp to 245 hp. The E250 models outputs 211hp and 350Nm of torque and all power is sent to the rear wheels via a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission.
