When you place a hot supermodel and stunning supercars in one room, it’s always hard to decide which looks more stunning. Maserati has joined in the fun of the Sports Illustrated 50th anniversary swimsuit issue, to feature a special edition of its own, titled “Beyond the Swimsuit.”
Shot by Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini, the 7-page spread features German supermodel, Heidi Klum touring around in a variety of Maserati models including the Zegna Limited Edition, the Ghibli S Q4, and the GranTurismo MC Stradale Trofeo Race Car.
Whether sitting behind the wheel, emerging at a red carpet event, or coming off the race track, it goes without saying that Klum managed to put up some serious visual competition with the gorgeous Italian luxury cars. After all, hasn’t it been said that confidence is the sexiest thing a woman could possess.
“I had a great time driving the new Maseratis for their new campaign shot by Francesco Carrizoni,” said Heidi Klum. Besides promoting the Maserati models, the campaign also aims to strike against the stereotypes of modeling by showing that these supermodels have achieved incredible things, beyond the swimsuit. These women have elevated themselves past a simple beauty shot, into being successful, powerful, driven women – in short a Maserati type woman.
