Just recently, Honda Malaysia unveiled the limited edition City X and Jazz X. Back home in Japan, Honda has quietly unveiled the limited edition Honda Grace, called the Style Edition.
The Honda Grace is the Japanese name for the Honda City we have here. The key difference between the City and Grace is that the latter is available exclusively with Honda’s Sport Hybrid i-DCD (Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive) system, which consists of a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine with a 7-speed DCT transmission with built-in electric motor mated to a built-in lithium-ion battery pack. The engine is capable of outputting 108 hp and 134 Nm, whilst the electric motor outputs another 29 hp and 160 Nm.
The Honda Grace Style Edition receives a unique dark chrome front grille, dark chrome door handles, dark chrome rear number plate garnish plus blue stitching on the seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel. In addition to that, the Style Edition gets Midnight Blue Beam Metallic and Lou Se Black Metallic as exclusive colours, in addition to the White Orchid Pearl and Premium Crystal Red Metallic.
In Japan, the price of the limited edition Honda Grace starts at JPY 2,098,400 (RM 83,133) for the Grace LX Hybrid (7 spd DCT, FF), while the range-topping Grace EX Hybrid (7 spd DCT with paddle shifters, 4WD) will set buyers back for JPY 2,424,400 (RM 96,047).
