MINI Malaysia today introduced the new MINI JCW Pro Edition. With only 20 units exclusively produced for Malaysian market, the new MINI JCW Pro Edition is the fastest, loudest and the most powerful MINI 5-Door developed.
The unmistakable proportions of the new MINI JCW Pro Edition is accentuated by the MINI JCW Pro Aerodynamic Kit, which makes the already sporty MINI Cooper S 5 Door even more thrilling. The Aerodynamic Kit features front splitter, side skirts, rear bumper and rear spoiler.
In addition to the full body aero kit, the new MINI JCW Pro Edition also offers exclusive 18-inch MINI JCW Pro Cross-Spoke light alloy wheels in Jet Black. Fitted with run flat technology, the new MINI JCW Pro Edition can keep travelling up to 80km at 80km/h even with a puncture.
Setting itself further apart from the rest aesthetically, the new MINI JCW Pro Edition also features MINI JCW Pro Roof Décor, a one-of-a-kind red and black chequered roof graphics. Additional visual enhancements for the new car include MINI JCW Pro Wing Mirror Caps and MINI JCW Pro Side Scuttles which matches the side panels of the new car.
In terms of powertrain, the new MINI JCW Pro Edition comes with the MINI JCW Pro Tuning Kit to harness extra power for the most demanding high-performance driving capabilities. The new performance optimized engine update, coupled with the perfectly-tuned valve silencer improve responsiveness and boosts the standard engine performance from 192hp to 211hp. Torque now peaks at 300Nm as compared to the 280Nm of torque produced by the MINI Cooper S 5-Door.
The new MINI JCW Pro Edition also offers the MINI JCW Pro Valve Silencer with Carbon Tailpipe Trim. The exhaust silencer system comes in two modes – “Sport” for a full sound to accompany everyday driving and “Track” for the ultimate adrenaline kick on the race track. The exhaust flap, which unleashes devilish backfire pops and cracking, is operated wirelessly via two clicks of the Bluetooth 4.0 controller.
The new MINI JCW Pro Edition is made available exclusively in Midnight Black Metallic. The performance oriented MINI also arrives with the MINI 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service. The free scheduled service is provided in accordance with the Condition Based Service system.
The retail price of the new MINI JCW Pro Edition (on the road for personal registration, without insurance) is RM 255,888, an additional RM19,000 from the standard MINI Cooper S 5 Door. You can also have all these accessories fitted individually but it will cost you a lot more than the current price offer.
