The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) has released the result of the soon-to-be launched Perodua Bezza during a Media Test Drive at the Perodua Headquarters in Rawang.
The first ever sedan model produced by Perodua, Bezza, performed very well, achieving 15.38 points in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) assessment. The result places Bezza in the 5-Star category for AOP.
However, due to ASEAN NCAP prerequisite for 5-Star, only the variant with dual frontal Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is being awarded with 5-Star whilst variants without these features automatically rated as AOP 4-Star.
All Perodua Bezza models come standard with dual airbags and Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for driver only together with ISOFIX and top tether for child restraint system. ESC is only available in higher variant.
Perodua Bezza also made an excellent accomplishment in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) achieving 85% compliance, a percentage that places the sedan model in 4-Star rating category.
The all-new Perodua Bezza is expected to be officially launched in Malaysia next Thursday. Available in 5 variants, bookings are now open with a booking fee of RM300.
