Thanks to our friends at Careta.my, we spied this gorgeous Cafe Racer creation recently, and were it not for the logo on the top left of the photo, we’d never have guessed where it came from.
Originally posted on MCR (www.motorcycleraw.com) you’d be forgiven if you thought it was something from an Italian bike maker and not a company more known for producing scooters! Indeed the design of the Kymco Cafe Racer 300 Concept (that’s a mouthful) was penned by Italian artist Oberdan Bezzi.
Specification details are scarce but based on the numeric in its name, it’s likely to be powered by a 300cc engine, which Kymco will undoubtedly have in stock. Catering to beginner bikers who want a small capacity urban commuter but despise scooters perhaps?
The Brembo brakes and USD front forks are certainly worth the price of admission in our opinion. Let’s hope they make it, and more importantly, import it!
