Buggati needs to offload its Veyron, fast!

It seems all is not well with Buggati, as it needs to clear off some 62.5 million Euros of the convertible version of the Buggati Veyron supercars, fast. A total of 150 units were made for its two convertible variants, the Grand Sport and Grand Sport Vitess. As for now, 40 convertibles remained unsold and desperate seeking for buyers.

In that case, Bugatti has devised a special program called Dynamic Drive Experience in the United States. It allows potential buyers to drive the car on the road and experience its raw speed on closed airport runways. The firm believes emotion gained from these prospect buyers after experiencing these machines will result to these prospects to write a cheque to Buggati.

The Grand Sport cost 1.435 million Euros while the much powerful Vitesse cost additional 200K Euros more than the Grand Sport. Generally, Buggati cars are not made until a firm order is made by the customer. To complicate things more, there is no new Buggati models to be introduced until all these convertibles are sold out. The French firm previously scrapped the Galibier in order to make way for the next generation Veyron, which is set to be Buggati’s main weapon to counter the string of hybrid hyper cars from Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren.
