NAZA World hosted a memorable Chinese New Year Celebration for its thousand staff and guests at the NAZA Automall in Petaling Jaya recently. The splendidly decorated hall, adorned with an assortment of traditional red lanterns, cherry blossoms and ornamental tangerine plants, came alive as delighted guests filled the showroom.
Exuberant staff arrived in vibrant Chinese New Year inspired fashion, hoping to earn themselves the award for ‘Best-dressed’. The festivities kicked off with a sensational lion dance performance, which began at the NAZA Automall entrance and eventually concluded in the centre of the hall.
Members of senior management tossed the ‘yee sang’ which was then shared between all guest tables. Everyone indulged in an array of succulent Asian dishes, which included Chinese favourites such as Pao, Dim Sum and Char Kuey Teow.
As they dined on the sumptuous food and enjoyed good company, guests were entertained by an impressive performance by professional circus performers who were flown in specially for the event. The daring acts included an acrobatic routine, juggling, plate spinning and even sword swallowing! Other activities such as Chinese calligraphy and face painting were enchanting additions to the occasion.
Showcased at the event area, enthralling the bike and car enthusiasts, were car and bike models of some of NAZA’s finest brands including Vespa, Aprilia, Harley Davidson, Ducati and Chevrolet.
