Leaked photos of a new Honda model have emerged in China. Based on a 2014 Honda concept called the Honda Concept B, this China-only model comes in a fastback form, which is unusual for a B-segment model.
Taking design elements from the tenth-generation Civic, the Honda Concept B features a sloping rear roof, with boomerang shaped rear lamp assembly. Set to be called the Honda Glenia, the car features a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, which is identical to the Honda City. Due to the sloping roof, rear headroom could be rather tight.
Powering the Honda Glenia is a 1.5-litre L15B four-cylinder engine from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology lineup that outputs 128 hp and 155 Nm. The engine will drive the front wheels via a five-speed manual or CVT. In China, the Honda Glenia is also expected to be equipped with LaneWatch.
