In light of Mitsubishi’s global recall for selected models for defective right-turn indicator switches, the Mitsubishi Lancer-rebaged Proton Inspira will also be recalled by Proton.
Proton Inspira models built from 2010 to 2014 have been fitted with the defective right-turn indicator switches that was supplied by Mitsubishi. A total of 20,330 units of the Proton Inspira are affected.
In addition to that, Proton is also recalling certain Proton Exora 1.6 CPS models that was built from 2009 to 2015 for a precautionary inspection of the fuel-line in the engine compartment.
Both Proton Inspira and Exora owners are advised to book an appointment with their preferred service centres for an inspection. All parts and labour costs will be borne by Proton.
