During today’s ongoing 2016 My Auto Fest, Honda has officially unveiled the all-new 2016 Honda Civic Turbo, slated to debut early next month! The new Civic was officiated by YB Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi, Deputy Minister of Transport, together with the Managing Director and CEO of Honda Malaysia, Mr Katsuto Hayashi.
The range-topping Civic Turbo receives a new turbocharged 1.5-litre VTEC turbo engine, which is available with an Earth Dreams Technology CVT. The new turbo four-cylinder manages 173 hp at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 220 Nm at 1,700 to 5,500 rpm. The entry-level variant will feature a naturally-aspirated 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine, similar as the outgoing variant, though Honda Malaysia will equip all Civic variants with the EDT CVT.
The new Civic will be available in a new shade of silver, called Lunar Silver Metallic. Customers can also place their booking for the all-new Civic at the ongoing 2016 My Auto Fest, happening from today to Sunday at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC).
