A short 44 second promo video of the 2016 Proton Perdana has emerged, which showcases most of the key highlights of the upcoming D-segment offering from Proton.
The video does show how some design elements of the interior, including the rotary gear knob, chrome surrounds in the centre console and the dual LCD displays. Also shown in the video is the dual tone interior, which has a black dashboard and beige-coloured seats and door trim.
The 2016 Proton Perdana will utilize Honda engines where the range-topping variant will be fitted with an i-VTEC 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 178 hp at 6,500 rpm and 222 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. The 2.0 variant, on the other hand, will utilize a 2.0-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine with 152 hp at 6,300 rpm and 189 Nm at 4,300 rpm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
