Thanks to the folks at 7car, we understood that Toyota will begin taking orders for the new Previa from 7 May onwards, before officially unveiling the updated MPV on 6 June. A total of four variants will be available, ranging from Aeras, Aereas Premium, Aereas Smart and Aeras Premium G.

The new Toyota Previa, when it debuts in Japan, utilizes the company’s current “Keen Design” styling cues, with sharp LED headlights surrounding a trapezoid-shaped front grille. From the leaked photos, it appears that the the DRLs are integrated into the sides of the front bumper.

The leaked photos does not show the Previa’s new rear end, but from what we gathered, not much has changed from the outgoing model, though the Previa is expected to receive LED tail lights with darkened lens.

Toyota will drop the 3.5-litre V6 engine option, leaving just the 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and hybrid options for buyers. Furthermore, the Toyota Previa will be equipped with Toyota’s Safety Sense C package.
