The current Toyota Innova may not be a winner in terms of looks and it seems like Toyota Thailand could be cooking-up the next generation Toyota Innova, which will be using using Toyota’s next-generation design language.
Sourced from Fly-Wheel, they claim that the shot was leaked from a Thailand source, and like its predecessor, will be based on the Toyota Hilux platform, which will also be the base for the next generation Toyota Fortuner.
Up front, the new Innova sports a new raked back front face, with a much larger front grille than before. The side profile also gets improved with a larger D-pillar. Unfortunately, there are no interior or rear end shots at the moment.
Under the hood, expect Toyota to reuse to current 2.0-litre petrol engine, mated to the same tried-and-tested four-speed automatic and 5-speed manual.
