Bentley must be having quite a field day, as their first SUV has leaked out of China, in the form of a 1:18 scale model!
Thanks to CarNewsChina, we finally have a better look at Bentley’s first-ever SUV, called the Bentayga, albeit in a much smaller form.
While the front end of the Bentayga isn’t much of a departure from what we would imagine, it gets rather interesting at the rear. Before this, we never had a chance to have a look at the SUV’s rear end; now thanks to this scale model, it appears that the Bantayga shares some design elements with its cousins, the Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7, both of which shares the same VAG MLB Evo platform.
As expected of a SUV of this segment, chrome is used generously, coupled with a set of large five spoke alloy wheels and a large panoramic sunroof. The rear lights are of a simple rectangular design, with chrome trim all around. Even the rear number plate surround has chrome.
The Bentley Bentayga is expected to debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in mid September, and we believe that Bentley will be handing out this 1/18 scale model as door gifts for their visitors. Cool!
