Interested in the new Ford Mustang? Fret not, as Ford Malaysia is currently previewing the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang here in Malaysia, more specifically in Publika. The preview will run from today till the 15th of March. We got here early to get you readers some shots of the all-new Mustang, so sit back and enjoy the shots!
From the outside, the new Ford Mustang sports a sleeker front end compared to its 2011 predecessor. The headlights are now sharper, with integrated DRLs, while the front signal lights are positioned above the front foglights. The black splitter you see here comes standard with the 2015 Ford Mustang.
Specification wise, the new Ford Mustang will come with a 2.3-litre EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine and a 5.0-litre V8. Body choices, as we mentioned earlier, will be available in both fastback and convertible. From the preliminary specification sheet, the Ford Mustang will arrive in Malaysia with a 6-speed automatic with column mounted paddle shifters.
The Ford Mustang 5.0 will sport 435 PS (428 horsepower) and 528 Nm of torque. The range topper can sprint from standstill to a hundred km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The more economical 2.3-litre EcoBoost model will have 314 PS (310 hp) with 434 Nm of torque. The same century sprint is completed in 5.3 seconds.
In terms of pricing, it has been announced that the Mustang 2.3 will be priced between RM350-400,000, while the Mustang 5.0 will cost around RM550-600,000. Stay tuned to AF for more updates!
